About Us
The Ghana Province has been in New York City since 1996. The Sisters have been ministering to the elderly for the past 15 years, and serving in ministries such as: teaching, nursing, chaplaincy and home care. We have clients in Queens, The Bronx, Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn New Jersey and Connecticut. Our interest is to provide comfort and compassion to the elderly, as well as support for their spiritual needs. Our services are available to all elderly of diverse faith groups as well as those who do not practice any Religion. We serve with our hearts and from our hearts.
Our vision:
To bring dignity and quality of life to the elderly and allow them to v enjoy living in their own homes. We work together with the clients and their families but always place the interest of our patient first.

Friends Keep Hope Alive Inc. is a private ministry founded by three Sisters of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus (HHCJ), who live in Bellerose, New York. The Sisters and their Aides have been involved in teaching, nursing homes, and spiritual care ministries here in New York City for the past 15 years. We commit ourselves to transforming the lives of our elderly by showing compassion through caring, supporting their family members, and alleviating some of their burdens.
